Athena the Brain is the first book in the Goddess Girls series, and it is about the new goddessgirl Athena, and is likely the main character of the series. She is trying hard to fit in and find friends, and she has her own title as the smartest goddessgirl in school. Although she finds some rivals and friends along the way, like Medusa and Poseidon, that give her a hard time. But her new Goddess Girl friends make her feel right at home.

Athena's in for a hair-raising adventure...

Athena has always been above average. She's never quite fit in at Triton Junior High, but who guessed that Athena is actually a goddess? Principal Zeus' daughter, to be exact. When she's summoned to Mount Olympus Academy, Athena thinks she might actually fit in for the first time in her life. But in some ways, school on Mount Olympus is not that different from down on Earth, and Athena is going to have to deal with the baddest mean girl in history-Medusa!

Plot[]

Athena's friends have to say goodbye, because she just found out that she's a goddess and is transferring over to MOA and her father is Zeus, king of the gods. Though everyone thought that Zeus was just a myth. But even if she's making her way to the top, not everything is always going to be perfect. There's minor obstacles such as Medusa and Poseidon, but she's got the title as the smartest goddessgirl in school, and she's made her own best friends quickly.
