Athena the Proud is the 13th book in the Goddess Girls series, and in the book, Athena decided to upgrade King Minos' labyrinth, but out of accident, she triggers a disaster. She uses Ariadne's pink ball of yarn for her to follow back when the labyrinth is finished, although she faces dangerous and misplaced challenges that she placed in the labyrinth herself using her powers and realized why Daedalus, her inventing teen mortal hero, made it so easy. She triggers her own traps and traps Hades and the others inside the labyrinth for a long time.

Plot[]

Athena and her classmates and friends go to the aMAZEment park for a special treat and trip, and Athena and her Goddess Girls friends meet new friends, and face an extremely easy labyrinth. Athena, using her powers, hardens up the labirynth, but realizes that not everyone is as smart as she is. In this book, Athena learns that she has to rely on teamwork, and not just herself, for arrogance can get the best of even the smartest people.
