Daimons or Daemones are a group of deities who each personify the human condition and/or abstract concepts, they form a large part of the Greek pantheon of gods. Their names are simply capitalized nouns so, for example, Eros is "Love" and Thanatus is "Death". They are sometimes called personified spirits. Examples of female Daimons include the goddesses: Hebe, who personifies the concept of youth, Soteria who personifies safety and Dike who personifies justice.
