Iaso is a daughter of Asclepius, God of Healing and Epione, the Goddess of soothing. Her siblings are Aegle, Aceso, Hygeia, Panaceia, Machaon, Podalirius, Telephorus and Achelois.
Role and Significance[]
She and the other Asclepiades were closely associated with their father, Asclepius, overlooking mortals and helping him to diagnose, medicate, heal and recover them.
