Iaso is the goddess of recuperation from Illness and a member of The Asclepiades, who assist their father, Asclepius, the God of Medicine in treating mortals, according to Greek Mythology.

Genealogy and Family[]

She is a daughters of Asclepius, God of Healing and Epione, the Goddess of soothing. Her siblings are AegleAceso, Hygeia, Panaceia, Machaon, Podalirius, Telephorus and Achelois.

Role and Significance[]

She and the other Asclepiades were closely associated with their father, Asclepius, overlooking mortals and helping him to diagnose, medicate, heal and recover them.

Appearance and Personality[]

Not much is known about her appearance and personality, but she would appear as a beautiful woman. She is also a helpful, caring, compassionate, intelligent and benevolent figure as shown by her duties.
