The Titaness Rhea, tasked Ida and Adrasteia to take care of her infant son, Zeus, keeping him safe from his evil father, Cronus. The sisters took the baby god to the secluded Dictaean cave, where they fed him the milk of a she-goat. The Nine Kouretes masked the baby Zeus' cries with their shield clashing dance. As the reward for their service, Zeus gave the sisters a Cornucopia alternatively he put them in the sky as the constellations Ursa Major and Minor (the Bears), which were also called Helike (the Circling One) and Kynosoura (the Dog's Tail) by the ancient Greeks.
