Kymopoleia (also spelt Cymopoleia) is a Sea Nymph and the Goddess of the violent sea currents and waves during storms. She was mentioned only in
Hesiod's Theogony.

Kymopoleia is a daughter of Poseidon and Amphitrite and the wife of the Hecatonchiere, Briareus, with whom she had a daughter, Oiolyka.

She is probably the goddess of the violent storm waves generated by her husband.
