Persephone/Goddess Girls the Phony is the 2nd book in the Goddess Girls series, and it is about Persephone sick of being dependable all the time. She wants to show her true self, and she has been a phony the whole time! Luckily, she finds someone who really does understand her, someone who turns out to be just like her - Hades. Although her friends and her mother Demeter are unsure whether or not she should hang out with him. Persephone and Hades share a great bond and find that they have a crush on each other, having almost everything in common.
Blurb[]
Persephone's tired of pleasing everyone else...
As Persephone's mother encourages her to do, she often "goes along to get along" instead of doing what she really wants. But when she meets Mount Olympus Academy bad-boy Hades, she finally feels she has found someone with whom she can be herself. He's the first person who actually listens to her, and she finds herself liking him, despite the other goddessgirls think he's bad news. But if he makes her feel so special-and so comfortable-can he really be all that bad?
Plot[]
Persephone shows her true leaves as she goes through an irritated state - the state of being the dependable one. Everyone always tries to depend on her as she at least tries to help them. One day, she looses her ball of yarn in a graveyard, and her new friend Hades and her become friends, as he helps her find it.
