Pheme the Gossip is the 10th book in the Goddess Girls series, and it is about Pheme, the goddess of gossip, has been cursed from reading Athena's secret diaryscroll. Athena was well aware that she might snoop and read, so she decided to cast a red spell on Pheme, turning her hands completely red. Later when the spell wears off, Athena and her have a bet that she should last at least one day without gossiping, so she put on a word mixer-upper to mix up her words when she talks of someone else. Though Phaeton's father, Helios, has a chariot that will crash right into the sun that might set Mount Olympus on fire, so she has to warn Principal Zeus before it's too late!
Blurb[]
Get to know the goddess Pheme, the original "gossip girl"!
As the goddess of rumor and gossip, Pheme prides herself on being "in the know" and having the most up-to-date info on anyone and everyone at Mount Olympus Academy. To make sure that everyone gets her VIP messages, her words tend to linger in cloud letters above her head-just in case people don't catch what she says!
But not everyone is thrilled with Pheme's insider knowledge on everything MOA-including the Goddess Girls. Can Pheme ever be trusted? Or will this "gossip girl" find herself on the other end of rumors?
Plot[]
Pheme's been snooping around...again! Though this time, she's been taking peeks in Athena's diaryscroll. Since she's the smartest goddessgirl in school, she was very wary of this. She put a red-hand curse and Pheme has to wear gloves. Pheme finally admits she's been snooping, and she and Athena both made a bet for her to not tell any gossip for one whole day. Pheme accepts, and on the same day, Phaeton's father, Helios owns a sun chariot which nearly sets Mount Olympus on fire. She has to use another skill, other than talking, or writing, to save the day. No one ever knew that Pheme was such an artist!
